Happy to get to the pub to meet Paul.Joined by Karen,Anne and Emma tonight but gave Emma my i-pod on PJ's suggestion to keep her quiet.Need to update my tunes on that when I get a minute.It worked well though, as usual .
Started off o carling but due to big tea swapped to wine for my last drink. (It was very nice though the wine)Got a lovely hug before PJ left,Karen and Emma joined in too.I am so tired now!)

Finally on my own as Tracey's Dad came for her but I was dead organised as I feared I would be on my own...well you know what working with them is like anyway...
Cleaned most stuff and all the tables I could before last orders...showed Tracey how to clean the coffee machine or rather told her what to do and made her do it as she claimed not to know!Unbelievable...LOL
Apart from the odd riff raff...there was some really nice people in today including a very old lady who told me that she used to come there when it was Quinneys and that Quinney's was mainly used for functions and it was more of a dance hall really!She remebered going to a wedding there in 1950!!!
I actually sat down for 5 mins and had a good natter with them...apparently they were from Hull apart from the old lady who lived here in Preston ever since she moved from London...So yes I did my bit for customer relations this evening.... They wanted details on others and recalled the lambworth which Dave owned there in Hull and asked was it still a carvery...I got some leaflets for them off Dave!
Not too bad a night...all done for 11.30 but no footballers in and Dave had given me the best set of keys tonight......HIS!So I locked up and got in the bottle store with ease!!!!
Just had one pint of coors then home to bed....

Did lots of typing work with the kids on the computer this morning...They were doing poems entitled...Bedtime,bedtime.....(Just where I wantd to be everytime I typed that and recorrected for capital letters!he he he
A bit of Maths followed involving sorting numbers into multiples of 2,5 and 10...can just about cope with that..he he he!
Then this afternoon was taken up by Van Gogh...starry night pictures...I joined in the painting and showing techniques with the kids until 3pm when I had to swap and do 20mins intense extra support work....

Auntie and Uncle are as well as can be expected...Auntie Joan has been falling but looks a lot better than last time we saw her and she is just worried about her next Hospital appointment on the 8th January...That will tell her whether her treatment appears to be succesfull or not I think...Uncle Jim's isn't until June he said...Apparently her leg just gives away on her!
Got chips after Asda as had had no tea and it was nearly 10
Dave said you had a busy day and couldn' t understand why he hadn't rota'd me on to cope..he he he.
He said havn't you sent me an E-mail yet and I said I don't know as I hadn't logged on,I had just eaten chips and then we all came out for a quick drink...Had 2 pints of Coors....
Played guess the covers and I suggested similar to a Sunday and he said yes 603...
According to Sean he was glad he was on with Dave and not Mark!!!
He said even Dave was getting a little stressed at one point.

I think after a busy shift I would have fancied a pint so if I were you I'd have gone in the Lane ends or got a supply of cans in and not moved an inch all evening.

Tommorow in town must get G.H.D's for Steph's Christmas pressie off Mum and Dad.Medium pair for about £100 my Mum says.My Dad will pay me back eventually and also something Christmassy for my hair on Christmas day or it will be reindeers again and I can only see one at the moment.My dad can't manage to get into town and get them from the hair cuttery apparently.
I am feeling fairly tired and sleepy now....so will log off and sleep soon.

Had a really good day today and it was just the icing on the cake as they say to have a drink and natter.

Not even looked at the book since last week so I think will re read through at lunchtime as I worked last night and sunday and Saturday and Friday night...Oh well apart from slight changes have done it all 3 times before!Hopefully I should be ok...then final practical exam is next week.......

Went to the pub for tea last night at my mums suggestion after my first aid course...she didn't seem in too good of a mood last night....
Was pleased to see my best friend Paul..tapping with a hammer doing his best to put up some Christmas decorations....Enjoyed my drink with him, Paula and Kimmy.
Bless Paul who showed concerns for my nasal snivels yesterday but....
No rest for the wicked today though..off to work this morning and off to debenhams for a spot of Christmas shopping at my mums request possibly a bit of food shopping tonight too as I want to go out and play with my friends tomorrow night LOL!

Started making Christmas cards this afternoon with stencils and I was covered in paint as per usual.
The reception class has just inherited another child so I have spent time sorting out a new reading wallet and books.

Went for our lunch break at 2.15...I started to panic at 2.35 that we'd been too long but really we hadn't and I quite enjoyed it and we were fairly chilled!
Then the crap happened.....I hate it when stuff happens like that it ruins the day!
Things just weren't right after that and it seemed so odd today!!!!
Mark kept disappearing and returning and demanding coffee and stuff...I was getting annoyed and went off to chill in the glass wash especially after Julie stiring things and having me double do a drinks check as she had still left the damn thing in the machine....
so much for your hug I so needed it and I think you did too....Such a terrible shift I haven't worked in a long while and it kind of puts us in an awkward position...I so wish Kim had done what I suggested and things wouldn't have been so difficult.
She just obviously wasn't in the mood for listening to anyone!
God help me tomorrow as I have to do another shift and Kim and Joelene are working too!

I finished my shift and sat down for a drink with V and Karen.
After an alcahol infusion and some perfiteroles I went home to get changed and Heather had covered my bed in stuff..washing and rubbish and I ended up balling my eyes out and nearly stormed back out to the pub....At that point you see I may have got straight in bed if my mum and dad wern't planning going for a drink..but as my bed was covered in stuff...There was no chance of it...
I re-composed myself got changed...blew my nose again washed my face and went out and had a few drinks with mum and dad.
Have returned and chucked everything on the floor so I can get in bed...I think I am overtired and overemotional due to todays occurances.....
The only people who made me laugh today was Emma and you Paul with her suspense and Sean with him telling Mark he had given him a matching cold sore...
I tell you you can't do right for doing wrong!
I think I better log off and try to sleep now....this cold is doing my head in!

She has just left the house and dashed back in and out again....I don't want to get up but I'll have to soon..Must get a shower and wash my hair......the force of the bed is too comfy and warm this morning!

Also tidied some glasses in the carvery and Natalie asked me if I was feeling ok and hit me with a wooden spoon!LOL

So tonight till 12 was like the Graveyard shift.....
had a takeaway tonight though and we have an exciting £6.60 to look forward to tomorrow!

Learnt how to do the PDQ machines last night...it was amusing there was me ,Dave and Sean with a machine each all pressing the buttons and swiping in turn....

Not worked with him propperly on the bar for ages and everyone else kept disappearing and leaving us to it...They all kept bogging off for fag breaks.....
I remember moaning about plates and stuff left in the glasswash and cheeky Paul said "you moaning...nothing new there is there?"So he got a good poke in the ribs for that...
Poor Paul had a sore shoulder and found it difficult to lift the glass trays,change a barrel or open bottles of wine.
So I felt the need to undertake those tasks for him...too soft me!LOL
I enjoyed the change of company and let him do a lot of the sales and I just helped by pouring all the drinks...teamwork eh.....
Plenty of cuntrags present last night though and Dave has managed to get rid of another thanks to them nicking a cutterlry pot and leaning over the bar and filling it with lager.

Nothing of excitement at work today to report...just another random day..oh apart from the fact that Lisa was back today from being sick yesterday and it was her class assembly tomorrow so had 1 day to practice acting out the gingerbreadman.Carrying on with Post office stuff in Reception     After my online natter yesterday with Simon Heather's boyfriend I had finally decided I had something I knew I could buy as a present to kick off my Christmas shopping so to speak.....  so I shot into town and got it straight after work..... At first I didn't seem to be getting anywhere and I bumped into Nat and Gemma in Woolies and ended up standing and nattering and little Demi was with them...what a cutie she is and what lovely blue eyes she has  , they didn't have what I wanted!....Then I went in M&S and got quite a bit of stuff and then bumped into a teacher from school and ended up nattering to her and then into Next and made some purchases..then Clintons as didn't find what I wanted in WHS and went into Primark as a short cut to debenhams...spent lots of money there and came home with 7 carrier bags!!!!!!! So having got pressies for Steph,Heather,my Auntie and Uncle, Paul,My friends birthday pressie at school...not getting her Chrissie one yet..I hate it because her birthday is so close to Christmas and you have to think twice for the same person so close together and it is hard.....!   Have probably spent far too much but its when they open it and hopefully they like them I enjoy it most!(If you can't enjoy spending money its not worth having is it?)  Will have to write a to do list!!!!!!Well still mum and dad,Simon,prob should get Joelene a little something too plus two friends at work and 2 secret Santa pressies but I am so relieved because at last I have made a start....beginning to panic as I hadn't had any inspiration and is normally all vertually done by now...I hate shopping in town when its mad buzy it drives me crazy!!!! Must also wrap me stuff up as Heather and Steph have a terrible habbit of being nosy!!! Woke up on Tuesday morning with just a banging headache  so went in the shower and then downstairs and took two soluble panadol  which took about an hour to kick in but once they had I was fine for the rest of the day....It meant that I could go to work and attend my first aid course in the evening... Alison asked me if I was going to the pub later to see the usual crowd...said I wasn't sure as I didn't know if I would feel tired or OK or not after tea...I was fine so couldn't wait to dash accross with Stephers and have a drink and a natter to Paul... Helped stephers and Joelene to win a pound on word up whilst I waited for Paul to join us... Always enjoy my natter to Paul am so relaxed,nothing matters on a Tuesday night as I don't work...Hope he enjoyed the FOSTERS too...even though MR Messy was being naughty and trying to get me to buy you Coors on a work night.....! (tut ,tut) (He does have a very naughty side that me-ow) It's a good job I'm a good girl!LOL  Enjoyed my hug as usual and it was nice that Stephers could give you a lift Paul as it saved you some taxi money...You can spend it on something more fun eh?    This morning though I think I needed a Wallace and Gromit invention to get me out of bed...and in the shower, dressed,breakfasted and in the car for work as I had led there for an hour in bed after the alarm and not moved......!(SHOCKING BEHAVIOUR!Could it have been that full pint of carling instead of the shandy I was going to have.....!  well persuaded Paul...didn't take much did it?  NO IT WAS JUST ME... being lazy and warmer in bed!) Not to worry..still ready in time just had to rush when I did move! Seriously one of those machines should be patented...It would be great...a cracking invention! Well after getting to work..it is my fave day of the week these days as Alison and I do PPA cover in reception class first thing in the morning..a bit of maths and a bit of Literacy and off to practice the new songs for the concert..MARY HAD A BABY YES LORD!  O.M.G...Christmas is coming ARGHHHHH!(omg christmas is comming isn't a song incidently LOL.....JUST MY THOUGHTS ON THE MATTER!) Oh dear...bug spreading......!!!!  The other teacher I work with was sick at lunchtime so had to go home.... Hope she didn't catch it from me on Monday! This afternoon did my usual literacy extra support group and also my Individual support work! Breiefly seen Stephers before she dashed out to go bowling with Joelene and his child Jordan!!!! I'm sure she'll have fun!She seemed in a good mood anyway! |
